Kanab...St. George...Jumpin Jacks

Over spring break I took the girls and we headed down to Kanab for a few days to visit my sister. We love going to Kanab. It is a small town with not a lot to do. I love it because I don't have to do really do anything besides hang out with my sister. We do always manage to squeeze in a trip to St. George to do a little shopping and let the kids play. This time we went to Jumpin Jacks. It was a great way to spend the afternoon and the kids were ready for bed when we got home.
On our way home we stopped in Hilldale to buy John some cheese curd from the dairy. Whenever I have stopped before there is usually nobody around. This time, when I pulled into the dairy, their were polygamist families everywhere. As I was getting out of the car I heard Brilynn say "Oh my goodness...Are those Pilgrims?" I just laughed and hurried and ran into the store. When I got back into the car Brilynn continued to tell me that she had counted and their were 15 kids in one family. Maycie wanted to know why they were all wearing their pajamas with tennis shoes. Needless to say we had a very long discussion on the way home. So now you can ask my girls and they can give you a brief discription of a polygamist. Nothin like a good anthropology lesson:)

Easter:)

The girls were so excited to have their cousins, Kaylee and Roice, come to our house for Easter.Brilynn got her Sea Monkeys that she had seen on the commercials and Maycie got her playdough set (however i didn't manage to get any pictures of her or any of the Easter baskets. It was a little hectic:(Payge quickly unwrapped a chocolate bunny and was completely satisfiedPreslee wanted to eat all of the gumballs and was ticked when we wouldn't let her!Eating and fully enjoying their Easter lunch. We put the twins down for a nap and colored eggs in between conference sessions. After conference we had an Easter Egg hunt. The twins would rather swing than find the eggs:)After the hunt the kids were able to turn in the real eggs for a surprise. Having lots of kids for holidays really makes them fun again. Thank goodness for all our sweet girls...and of course Brilynn came upstairs at the end of the day with her "own" Easter Bunny costume hahaha
