We love going to Syracuse Heritage days. It has become a tradition and something the girls look forward to. During Friday and Saturday we attended the magic show, the carnival rides, the parade, the booths, and the fireworks. It was a few busy days but...so much fun. My mom and sister even came out to join us this year. So having 4 kids and going to the carnival isn't very cheap these days. For 4 kids to ride 1 ride it takes 16 tickets. At a dollar a ticket that is $16.00 a pop, absolute robbery. Thank goodness I pre bought the tickets so they were only .50 cents a ticket instead. Still...$8 for one ride, oh ya...these kids have the best parents EVER:) The hammer was Brilynn's favorite ride. Unfortunately at those prices she was only able to ride it once. There's always next year!!!

I really wasn't planning on Preslee and Payge riding the rides. However, after hearing Preslee say "It's my tun" about 20 times, we gave in and put her and on the rides. Can you guess what Preslee did when it was time to get off. Oh did she SCREAM!!! So of course the carnival operator made me carry her off and get back in line with her again. Couldn't you just let her ride 1 more time. Seriously, there is no one else in line. It actually made me feel really bad that they loved the rides so much and that it was only a few months ago we left them at my sisters while we went to Disneyland. Poor girls:(

John has always been very good at finding "the diamond in the rough" when it comes to food. This year he came back from the food booths with this huge cob of corn. Little did I know it would be the best corn in the world. It was surely a treat. They claim to use Mayo, parmesean cheese, and chili pepper with lime and lemon. We are going to have to give it a try. Yumm-ooo

The girls were given the chance to ride thier favorite ride 1 last time. Maycie chose the slide and Brilynn chose the Ferris wheel. She really wanted to ride the hammer again but her cousin Casen really wanted her to ride the Ferris wheel. So she gave up her favorite to ride with her cousin, what a sweetie!
We LUV living in Syracuse and we Luv heritage days. Can't wait till next year!!!
