DISNEYLAND!!!

This year we decided it was time for our family to visit Disneyland again. This has been some of our best family vacations. However, with me being pregnant and having the twins, our Dland trips had been postponed for a few years. We left the twins with my sister and brought my mom and my nephew with us. We also had some of our neighbors, the Stokers, who were able to come with us as well.

We went from the time the park opened until it closed. The kids were exhausted and had no problem going to sleep.

This picture makes me laugh because Maycie was having a moment. She was upset that Brilynn and Cason had gotten their pictures taken more than she had. When Maycie gets mad you just have to leave her alone and give her time. We did want a picture though and a nice lady offered to take it, so we forced her to be in the picture. I know, child abuse:) We went Mon-Fri. Mon-Thur was perfect weather and the park was perfect. We had very very short lines and a few times we were allowed to ride the ride again since there weren't any lines. It was soooooo nice. On our last day though, it rained. So we rode our favorite rides and did some shopping and called it a day by mid afternoon. Atleast we weren't there 2 weeks ago when there were major floods.

We missed having the twins with us, but it was so nice to spend quality time with the girls and with each other. Thanks babe for such a fun vacation!

This is Brilynn and Wyatt getting on the space mountain ride. This was one of their favorites and I think we rode it atleast 10-12 times if not more. The first time Maycie went on it she didn't like it because she said it made her stomach hurt. But after a little convincing she agreed to go on it again. It soon became one of her favorite rides and she couldn't get enough of it.

Brilynn was very proud of her tinkerbell t-shirt. She doens't like the princesses but tinkerbell is her favorite she says because she has attitude!

Yes, we all had to go on the carousel because it is John's favorite ride:)

The tower of terror was another ride that Maycie didn't like because it made her stomach hurt. But once again it soon became one of her favorites. This was a favorite for all of us, so we lost count on how many times we rode it. I can't imagine going to disneyland when there are long lines. It just wouldn't be the same.

These were are frightened shots from tower of terror. Kinda funny!Cason and Maycie were pretty ticked when they couldn't ride California Screamin, but this was by far Brilynn's favorite ride. Another one that we rode countless times. It soon became a fight between the kids of who was going to get the front seat. Brilynn lost this time and is in the 2nd seat instead. She did make sure she got the front a few times though. This picture shows Brilynn with brown sugar all over her mouth after enjoying one of the many churros that my mom purchased for us at the park. My mom was so sweet the whole trip. She bought countless treats and meals for all of us. Not to mention all the souveniers that we all came home with because of her. We were so glad she came with us:)

Toon Town was actually one of the busiest places. Not quite sure why but we mostly took some pictures and called it good.

John was content with waiting for the kids to see tinkerbell and her friends. He thought they were pretty cute as well.Cason was so funny because he doesn't like the big plastic faces of most of the characters. He was not about to get his pictures taken with them. When it came to the fairy's though he was totally fine with getting his picture taken with a cute fairy.

All good things come to an end. We were so sad to have to come home to reality, but were really excited to get to see the twins. We really did miss them but it made it easier knowing they were in good hands and getting to see and speak to them on skype. Thank goodness for technology. We look forward to visiting again soon when the new areas in California adventure open!!!
