Bear Lake

Dan and Nikki invited us to Bear Lake again this year.  We went up Friday night.  When we got there we ate at a Mexican Restaurant.    It was super Yummy and a great way to start our weekend.  We sent the kids to bed that night and the adults stayed up until 2:00 a.m. playing phase 10.  The next morning before heading to the lake we set up a slip-n-slide and  Ben got squirt guns that him and Marcie had bought for all the kids.

Of course...Payge always had a drink!!!

and she was completely devestated when her sand shovel got broken :(
Dan and Ben had no mercy on the girls.

Our little Bunny Rabbit.
Love this shot of the Crazy kids!
After

After playing in the water we played some bingo and had prizes.  I had bought gum crayons at the dollar store for the kids.  The adults ended up wanting them because they were just like the old gum cigarettes we used to kid as kids.  When u blow on them...they puff out smoke.  We all had a walk down memory lane and thought it was funny that they changed them from cigarettes to crayons :)

We ate lots of good food while we were there and tons of it.  There was no lack of food!

After eating we headed down to the lake.  Payge fell and scraped her knees as soon as we got there.  She was soooooo sad and extra tired.

Dan and Ben helped the kids make a sand castle.  Preslee was sure that Dan had poop on his bum haha

After getting back from the Lake we all took showers and got ready for a BBQ.  We did BYOM and a side and dessert to share.  We had a strawberry pecan salad, pasta salad, watermelon, cantelope, grapes, chips and bean salsa, and all kinds of chips. For dessert we had 2 kinds of cookies and rice krispy treats.  Later that evening we did shave ice for everyone.  I seriously think we ate non-stop all weekend.
Then it was time to break out the glow sticks.  Payge made a Rapunzel wig out of hers and then attached her cat to it as well.

Maycie played with her soccer ball whenever she had a free minute.  She was always trying to talk someone into playing with her.

Preslee talked Payge into being her dog!

The next morning before we left Dan and Nikki had cookies for all the kids to decorate.

WE love being able to spend time with our extended cousins and next year...we expect a better turn out :)
